Mount Hotham isn’t a place I typically ski at. Steep and narrow runs can prove a challenge for those just beginning to grow comfortable on blue runs, and can be surprisingly tiring when tackled in quick succession.

Despite these reservations, when a group of old friends organised an impromptu ski weekend, I jumped at the chance. Almost as an afterthought, I decided to bring a small camera with me up to the High Country in case the light was good.
